Unfortunately, they don't support passive playback as they don't have an AUX port. They also have a somewhat neutral sound profile that you can tweak to your liking using their companion app's EQ presets. Although they're advertised to last roughly 30 hours continuously, we measured 68 hours, which is outstanding. They're very comfortable as well as well-built.

The Razer Opus X Wireless are the best Razer headphones for mobile gaming that we've tested. That said, if you're looking for wired gaming headphones, they're worth considering.
You can still use the headset with its 1/8" TRRS cable plugged into a controller, but without the card, you can't save any customizations you make with the Razer Synapse software, so these headphones are better-suited for PC and PS4 gamers. Also, their USB sound card doesn't work with Xbox One. Unfortunately, they don't have an ANC feature and deliver a disappointing passive noise isolation performance.

If customization isn't much of a priority for you, the Razer BlackShark V2 X are similar, less expensive wired headphones that work with any companion software or app. If you prefer a different sound, they work with great companion software that gives you access to a 10-band graphic EQ and several microphone customization features. Their default sound profile is decently neutral, with a somewhat overemphasized high-bass range that can add extra boom to sound effects in action-packed games. These gaming-oriented headphones have a comfortable fit and don't move around much on your head.

If you're looking for Razer headphones that support Xbox Wireless technology, try the Razer Kaira Pro Wireless for Xbox instead. That said, these customizable headphones are still a solid choice for gaming. They also aren't as well-built as some of the manufacturer's other gaming headsets, like the Razer Barracuda X Wireless. They also leak a bit of audio, so people nearby may hear some noise if your volume is turned up. Unfortunately, like many gaming headphones we've tested, their noise isolation is poor, which can be distracting if you're gaming in a noisy place. You can use them wirelessly with PCs, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, and you can also wire them to your controllers with the included 1/8" TRRS cable. Since they're compatible with Razer's Synapse software, you also get access to a graphic EQ and presets to help customize their sound. Out-of-the-box, they have a bass-heavy sound profile that adds some thump and punch to sound effects in your games. You can even remove the mic for a more casual look. These wireless gaming headphones come with a boom microphone that makes it easy to communicate with your teammates, even if you're gaming in a noisy setting.
